An Educator’s Approach to Empowerment
When asked what inspired her to write Kidpreneur, Kennisha shared that the story came from both her love of teaching and her own entrepreneurial journey:
“I’ve seen my little cousins get excited about creating and doing for themselves, and it reminded me that you can never start too young when you have passion. As an educator, I’ve seen firsthand how much kids light up when they realize they can take an idea and turn it into something real.”
She wanted children to walk away feeling empowered—knowing their ideas matter, their creativity has value, and they don’t have to wait until adulthood to make something happen.
