Writer Wednesday Spotlight: We’re Celebrating Our Own Charlotte Young Foye and Inside Charlotte’s Closet

This Writer Wednesday is a little personal for us.

Week after week, Creative Director Charlotte Young Foye helps shape the visual identity of Intellectual Ink Magazine. Her creative eye, sense of style, and instinct for presentation are woven into the work we do. She has spent years helping bring other people’s stories, ideas, and visions to life. This week, we get to turn the spotlight around.

Charlotte Young Foye is officially an author.

Her new release, Inside Charlotte’s Closet: Volume One: A Lookbook of Passion, Purpose, and Presence, is part visual memoir, part fashion lookbook, and completely Charlotte. At first glance, it would be easy to assume this is simply a book about clothes. It is not. The fashion is the invitation, but the real story is the woman wearing it. Across the pages of Inside Charlotte’s Closet, Young Foye uses memorable looks, personal essays, and photography to explore the moments that shaped her. She writes about confidence, body image, creativity, purpose, joy, loss, and learning how to take up space in rooms she once could not imagine entering. That is what makes the book work.
