Can you tell us about your journey from growing up in the South Bronx to becoming a prominent literary figure, particularly how writing became an integral part of your life?
learned the depth of my strength while growing up in the South Bronx. I was exposed to crime, drugs, and a dangerous lifestyle. But, where I came from, there was no see and say. I had to hold feelings of pain inside, so I turned to writing. It was my voice, and I learned to express myself and invite others into my world to gain knowledge of things I witnessed.

Julie Ojeda Nin was born and raised in New York City –The South Bronx far from a fairytale life.
Mrs.Nin was exposed to writing, as a way of expressing herself that soon became a hobby growing up in a community of hardship. She was inspired to write her first book Friends till the end that was released under Nikko Publishing owned by Julie Ojeda Nin in 2006… Since then, Mrs. Nin has produced Friends till The End as a stage play at Poet Den Theater, she released Friends till The End Part Two, Young Love, El Cuco: Horror, and has adapted Young Love into a screen play and is currently directing the film.
