INTELLECTUAL INK

Dear You

Dear You,

If you’re reading this, it’s possible I am worlds away from where you are.

Far beyond the reaches of the horizon, I bring my voice.

By choice I stood at the edge of my reality,

To the edge where there’s nothing for the eyes to see,

Nothing but the sky and sea,

I feel the touch of the breeze,

Close my eyes and take in the sound of the waves crashing beneath my feet. Damn…

My friend, this is the first time in a long while that I’ve felt this free.

I’ve found a place in this space of the Ocean State that could change the very fabric of my soul.

I don’t know who you are or who you may be but just know that this very feeling should be the goal.

This emotion of tranquility I think everyone should know.

Travel the world for me and record the places you go.

Be kind not just for you, but to those you want to grow.

Things take time, don’t rush, it’s ok to go slow because it’s the journey to the destination that provides you with the growth.

Laugh like there’s no tomorrow,

Love like yesterday never ended

Experience this world and all it has to offer while you still can.

It may already be too late I want you to let that sink in,

Focus on the now and don’t focus on the when

But then again how can we not?

Life’s funny that way.

Live…live your life full of happiness

Live your life full of wonder

Just live…and let the freedom of your life flow like you’ve never done before.

Live not for others but for you.

Those are the flowers you deserve,

Let nothing dim the light that shines on your petals.

With Love,

Love Wild
